Hostal Retiro - Madrid

Enjoyed the location of this place in Spain's bustling city. It was super convenient and surprisingly quiet 👍.

The accommodation was convenient with amiable and very helpful staff. They gave us a spotless and warm room with shower and bathroom plus TV.

What a fine stay, no reason to complain. Incredibly comfortable room with exceptionally comfortable beds, effective air conditioning, climate control, and a telephone. Nice and really kind staff always on hand.

Exceptionally friendly hotel with really helpful staff. Easy location very near Retiro Park. Comfortable bed in the triple room. Central heating, a work desk, and a TV set provided. Spacious bathrooms with a bath. Real good overall experience.

I gotta say, for the price we paid, we got great value. The room was small but clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. The location was spot-on, with easy access to metro stations and buses. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Breakfast selection could use a little improvement, maybe some more options would be nice.

Convenient Location 🚇

This place is in a great spot in the local area, very close to three different metro lines and several metro stations. It's also simple to reach Casa Arabe from here.

I stayed at Hostal Retiro for a concert and it was the perfect location, just 5 minutes from the venue. The reception staff were fantastic and the room was clean and tidy with great amenities. The hostal is close to El Retiro Park and metro stations, making it convenient for exploring the area. great value for money and helpful staff.

The room at Hostal Retiro was super cozy and comfortable, with heating and air conditioning to keep me perfectly snug. I loved having free Wi-Fi and a spacious desk to get some work done. The private bathroom was a big plus too, providing the privacy and convenience I needed. the room felt like a home away from home for a budget traveler like me.

I personally would have preferred if the room also had a flat-screen TV. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

Great location, close to the metro and park. Clean rooms.

Wi-fi didn't work. Pillow was too tall, had a sleepless night.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, and I felt comfortable as a solo traveler. the location was conveniently close to the metro and within walking distance of attractions. the shower was also nice, providing a refreshing experience.

The location of this place is very central, just a short walk from the New Alcala Theatre.
